Afro-Fusion Workshop - Sunday 18th July

Jina and Group of dancers

Are you interested in the pulsation of African rhythm and the frenzy of African movement? Do you love Africa's colourful, vibrant music and her passionate, evocative imagery? Do you yearn to dance and express yourself, as if pounding on her red-rich soil, beneath her black, velvety sky, around a flaming bush-fire?

If the answer is yes, then the Afro-fusion dance workshop is not to be missed!!

Encompassing a fusion of African and Contemporary dance styles, the class will be conducted to musical influences spanning the African continent. The class is an enjoyable, exhilarating, albeit exhausting, experience.

It will be held on Sunday 18th July 2010 at Fitness First (date TBC), 17 Christopher Place, Shopping Centre, St. Albans, AL3 5DQ from 2:30pm to 4:00pm.

No previous dance experience is required - only enthusiasm - as the class is tailored to all levels of dance/athletic experience. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and dance bare-foot. So, come along and participate as you work up a sweat, increase your fitness level - and support a good cause! Jina Swartz will teach the class.
